Two games into the 2017 / 2018 season and Manchester United have served a warning to their Premier League title rivals.

After beating West Ham United 4-0 in their opening fixture of the season, Manchester United travelled to South Wales and beat Swansea City by the same score-line at the Liberty Stadium.

Jose Mourinho decided to start with the same eleven he started with for the West Ham fixture, reward for the performance the side gave.

Manchester United survived an early scare when Ayew`s cross hit the bar but Manchester United responded in similar fashion when a header from Phil Jones also hit the woodwork.

The away side were having the better of things in the first-half but couldn`t create that crucial opening needed to edge ahead.

But, just as it looked as if the first-half would end 0-0, Manchester United did break the deadlock when Paul Pogba hit the bar and Eric Bailly was on hand to stab the rebound home.

The second half saw Manchester United control the game but the travelling support had to wait until late on for the game to be wrapped up when in four incredible minutes Manchester United scored three times.

The first of these three goals came in the eightieth minute when Romelu Lukaku was on hand to finish a move involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Two minutes later, Manchester United made it 3-0 when Mkhitaryan again provided the assist and Paul Pogba finished with aplomb.

Two further minutes later, it was 4-0 when a pass from Pogba was slotted home by Anthony Martial.

Manchester United have started the season in fine form, let`s hope they can keep it going.
