Mourinho Hints at Signing Ibrahimovic

Mourinho Hints at Signing Ibrahimovic

As Manchester United prepare to get their 2017 / 2018 Premier League season underway with a home fixture, this Sunday, against West Ham United, Jose Mourinho came up with something very interesting at his pre-match press conference.

Addressing the collection of assembled hacks, Jose gave the biggest hint yet that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be a Manchester United player, once again when he recovers from the knee injury he sustained in the Europa League last season.

Ibrahimovic had a fantastic first season at Old Trafford, finishing as Manchester United`s top-scorer more than justifying bringing the Swedish international to the club.

Jose, speaking about the striker, had this to say,

'What he did last year was not enough for him. He thinks he can do more.

'He wants more at football's highest level, so we are having conversations and we are discussing the possibility of him staying with us for the second part of the season.'

What a fillet that would provide the club, especially if we`re on the cusp of making a challenge for the title.

Bring it on!
