Shock Manchester United News

And there was I thinking this particular, on-going rumour had been put to bed.

But, apparently not!

It seems that we could be set for a repeat of the scenario we witnessed back in the summer of 2015 whereby David de Gea and Real Madrid almost became an item.

Today, lurking in the news vehicle, Daily Express, who have picked up upon something that appeared in the Spanish news source Don Balon, is the inference that de Gea wants to leave Old Trafford for the Bernabeu this summer.

Indeed, our sources are reporting that the 26-year-old goalkeeper has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, of his desire and told him to get the deal done.

If that is the case then it is disappointing news but, then again, haven`t we been expecting something like this ever since that move back in the summer of 2015 came to an abrupt halt so close to being signed, sealed and delivered!
