Former United Employee Starts Life Down Under

Former United Employee Starts Life Down Under

Over the weekend we ran an article confirming that our former reserve team manager, Warren Joyce, had got himself another managerial role.

After leaving Manchester United, whereby he`d managed the reserve team for eight years, Warren opted to pursue his career elsewhere, taking the managerial hot-seat, down under, at Melbourne City, a sister club of our rivals Manchester City.

We inferred that Warren would be leaving for a new life in Australia very shortly.

Well it seems that Warren wasted no time in jetting off to Australia and has held his first press conference, a press conference that provided one moment of hilarity.

Paraded in front of a group of eager journalists, Warren was met with a first question that went,

'Warren, a lot of people were expecting a big name, a glamorous, well known manager - and you arrived.'

Hardly your typical opening gambit, but at least Warren saw the funny side, simply remarking,

'Thanks.'

It can only get easier Warren!
