• The defeat Anderlecht suffered, makes it 18 games on English soil for the Belgian side, they have never tasted victory and their record now stands at 16 lost and 2 drawn.

• Manchester United, with the victory, extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 26 games, of which 17 have been won and 9 drawn. The run is the longest since October 2011 when the club went 37 games unbeaten.

• Although Anderlecht exited the Europa League, the Belgian side have managed 23 goals in the Europa League, only Genk and Roma can beat that figure with 25 and 24 respectively.
