Ballack Should Have Signed For Reds

God of german football, the great Franz Beckenbauer did NOT deny speculation about Owen Hargreaves. He was talking about a different subject: Michael Ballack.

Kaiser Franz believes the once highly-rated German midfielder made the wrong decision when he had joined Chelsea, for he would be better off at Manchester United.

The former Bayern man had been strongly linked with United before securing his move to Chelsea on a free transfer. Sir Alex was believed to be keen to buy him but I'm sure he does not regret now he missed out on him...

'I cannot see a place for Ballack at Chelsea,' Beckenbauer stated.

'As you can see, the game mostly passes him by. Frank Lampard is stronger and takes his position.

'He would have been better off at Manchester United.'

But Manchester United is better off without him, that's clear.

he's another mercenary. I rate Sheva, there's still something of a kid in him i think. He wants to do well and tries. Ballack on the other hand is a total waste of space. How can Fat Frank be stronger than him???

I think he would have been a good signing for you guys, I don't think he's happy at Chelski and it shows on the pitch. He'd be performing better at Manchester for sure.

Franz, like all legends , are areseholes..He will come good, once sheva gets 100% , the tabloids will attack him.
