Bale Set For Spurs

I told you: United won't buy anyone. Hargreaves' price is now out of the boundaries of human world and Gareth Bale is set to be captured by Tottenham.

As Vital United reported, Southampton had allegedly accepted an offer of 10m for the plaer from an unnamed Premiership club.

Many sources claimed that would be United but I believe they did not give the matter serious thinking. United won't pay 10m for a 17-year-old left-back with left-backs all over the place at Old Trafford. We should be much more careful now with the Glazers' and their debts.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are desperately short of left-sided players so it's no surprise the latest rumours indicate they have won the race for Bale for that whopping price.

That means Heinze will not go to White Hart Lane. There were some rumours that he was considering buying himself out of his contract but I think that's wide off the mark. He'll stay now.

I like them, too but they are ***** right now to be honest. Should pick themselves up as the squad is good and Bale would be a quality signing for them.

Yes Johna I heartily agree, I too am a Man U fan, despite my name and think Spurs have a cracking side of young (prominently british) players, good luck to them during the rest of the season, Bale would be a good addition to their squad, if we swoop for him at the last minute we promise to give Spurs Heinze!!! ha

I like 'em too (Spurs fan) Bale is better off at Spurs rather than your bench....and besides I thought Evre was your best player last week when the goons mugged you.

Is this an alliance between Spurs and Man U fans or something?! Only joking... I'd rather see you lot win the League than chavscum or Arsehols!

He'd be a great signing for Spurs although the price is steep. Having said that, at 17 you wonder just how good someone can become with so many years ahead and in 5 years time the price could be truly massive if he progresses.

how refreshing to come onto a rival site and hear grown up thoughts and some mutual respect, my late father was a massive utd as is my missus, so i always keep an eye on how they are doing, and it the quality of the team matches the quality of the fans, then look forward to another title.

Yiddo here, would love to get our hands on Bale, or Heinze, or Bridge or Baines or any decent LB! Don't suppose we could have Ronaldo or Giggs on loan by any chance for LW aswell? Have to say was one predicting Utd's demise at start of the season and they have been outstanding and Ronaldo (am hlaf portuguese) has been brilliant, forget Drogba etc, he is the main man in the Prem all season! Was a brilliant signing by Ferguson, absolutely brilliant and he did well to turn his head aswell in the Summer when his agents where probably rubbing their greedy mitts at the thought of him going to Madrid or Barca or Depor (am half Spanish)! Upmost respect for Mr Ferguson, man of honour! Hate Chelski but love Mourinho, but hope Utd do it this season, dont like Chelski as a club cos their scum with money and dont like the SCUM, cos their SCUM and ******** arrogant! Alteast Utd win and lose with honour, not blaming this that or the other and show their opponents respect - win or lose! They gave Chelski respect when they won the league and went to OT, look at Scum last year with Barca, what a bloody disgrace! Anyway, its not like Utd need Bale, got Heinze and Evra! Heinze was brilliant to start so dont know what happened there and Evra is coming good now, so dont think Utd need to address that side of the pitch! Definetly need to sign a top notch striker and maybe long term replacements for Neville, Giggs and Scholes, but thats about it! Anyway good luck and leave Bale alone!
