'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rossi Scored On His Debut

The young striker's unsuccessful loan spell at Newcastle is now in the distant pass. His move to Parma seems to be a good one as he scored on his debut. He beat four defenders before unleashing a fierce shot to the back of the net in the 75th minute, winning the game for relegation-threatened Parma against Torino.

Rossi was modest as always after such a fantastic debut but I'm sure it's a great joy for him now.

I'm happy, but I must keep feet on the ground.

'To be a player you must make sacrifices and, for this reason, I moved from the USA to Italy and then to Manchester.

'Now things are going well, but I must not get carried away. That would be dangerous.'
