How To Stop Rooney?

Ex-United hero Bryan Robson thought he had found the way to stop Wayne Rooney in full flow.

Robson: 'I had watched all the tapes on United and Wayne Rooney has been running the show for them.

'I wanted to put him out of the game and Paul was getting a lot of joy.

'You could sense Wayne was getting frustrated but when he pushed Paul in the back, it was unfortunate his head went into Thomas' thigh.'

Robinson will be assessed later on Tueday but it appears highly unlikely the defender is going to be fit enough to face Tottenham on Wednesday.
