'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Larsson The Greatest

Larsson got his United career off to a spectacular start with scoring in his debut game in the FA Cup against Aston Villa. Fellow striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who scored the winner hailed him as the greatest Scandinavian player of our era.

King Henke was in the starting line-up and in the 55th minute he scored after some spectacular build-up play to give us the lead. His performance was very good, even if we take his goal out of the account and Solskjaer praised him unreservedly.

'Henrik Larsson is the best player we have had in Scandinavia since Michael Laudrup,' he told Aftenposten.

'He continues to get better, and it was important for the manager to see what kind of shape he was in because he hadn't played for a while. I do not think he was disappointed.'

Well, I'm certainly not disappointed and I'd be surprised to learn Fergie wasn't pleased with him. Looking forward to see him in action again.

It's a shame Larsson was at Celtic during his peak. He could have done so much better.
