'Little Kid' Grown Up

'Little Kid' Grown Up

Louis Saha 'feels like a little kid' after regaining his scoring touch following a long battle with injury.

The former Fulham forward is eager to make up for lost time - and partially erase the memory of this season's Champions League debacle - by firing United to League Cup glory in the new year.

Saha: 'I feel like a little kid again. I have been dreaming of playing and scoring for so long, every time I see a ball I just want to run after it. The club have looked after me so well over the last few months, now it is time for me to give something back.

'Everyone knows losing so early in the Champions League was a major blow for the club, so now we have to try and win everything else.

'Whoever we get in the semi-final will be tough but we have every reason to be confident of winning it.'

'I am just trying to do my best because I recognise it is one thing wanting to do well, it is another actually doing it. The reason I am working so hard in training is to make sure I can do it on the pitch.

'We can all see how strong and dominant Chelsea are at the moment,' he said.

'But it is a long season and if we can keep on their tail, things might still go our way.'
