Manchester United Rumours

United are expected to bid 3 million for Southampton teenage defender Gareth Bale. Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal are also thought to be after the lad.

Fergie admitted David Gill is in regular contact with Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and he refused to rule out another move for Owen Hargreaves. Some sources claimed a 12 million offer is already on the table and the England midfielder is set to sign in January.

Joey Barton emerged as a target to strenghten United's midfield. The City midfielder is not the player of our dreams but not bad.

AC Milan are set to launch a bid for Gabriel Heinze. Hands off him guys!

And finally: United handed contract to Nigerian pair Kelechi Kalu Amogu (a striker) and Okoro Osagepamwen (a midfielder), both 17.

no one would want barton
rooneyisgod
Hargreaves deal still touting about !....would play well for you guys ...
ernshaw
yeah him and scholes in the center would be very good
rooneyisgod
I don't think he is what United need. You have Scholes, Fletch, Carick, O'Shea etc in the middle.
simmy8_2000
bye bye bye M.Carrick!

If we cant secure Owen Hargreaves then Joey Barton is the next best thing! he's got Roy Keane written all over him!! I think we should go in for Nigel Reo Coker as well! and theres a top little portuguese left winger called Nani who's just itching to join Ronaldo at old Trafford too! We also need a younger replacement for the future for Gary Neville, but i cant cant think of any right back that even touches him for quality! unless....Micah Richards decides to join a DECENT club!!
woodpecker9
Who the hell would want that @$$-flasher? He'd bring the "prestige" of your club down lower than it already is.
MerckZ
hargreavessssssss is all we need
rooneyisgod
you dont know what your on about MerckZ!! look at what Cantona did! or Rooney or ronaldo in the world cup!! not to mention keano!! and did they bring our club down? no i dont think so!! and dont forget we are TOP of the premier league at the moment so how can the prestige of our club be low!! do us all a favour and go back to sleep MerckZ!! and you never know you might wake back up in the real world! you joker!
woodpecker9
Haha, ok. I was kind of paying your club a (back-handed) compliment; that your club was too good for him. Sorry if you feel differently...
MerckZ
MerckZ, Sorry my apologies! I thought you were having a dig at us! I know Barton should be way down on our list but we do need someone like him to cover midfield, and maybe under Ferguson he would be a different character?..he is the right age after all! and i think it would allow him to make the step up to the England squad too! and England need it coz you have to admit that Lampard and Gerrard fantastic players that they are just cant seem to gel when they play together! and sticking Gerrard on the wing is just a waste of his talents! what do you think? ohh and once again sorry i bit your head off!! the nagging girlfriend was probably the couse of it!!..lol
woodpecker9
Lol, no problem, apology accepted. I was a little ambiguous anyway. You could be onto something with him. Right now Barton's an arrogant, ill-disciplined little SoB who seems to rate himself far too highly. Maybe under a stronger manager like Ferguson and being the littlest fish in the (arguably) biggest pond he'd mature and become the replacement Scholes. Which, as you say would be good for England. He'd be the perfect age for 2010. But it would be a big gamble. You do realise he's Liverpool born?
MerckZ
MerckZ, lol...i have no problem with him being from Liverpool! I would love to have Gerrard and hes a scouser too! take care mate.
woodpecker9
Hehe, good to know. You too.
MerckZ
Where are you from MerckZ?
woodpecker9
I'm from the R of SA. South Africa... You? Your name isn't Paul is it?
