Beckham Returns To Thrill Gill

United will play a game against a European all-star line-up, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome and the Busby Babes' entry into the European competition.

It means that David Beckham will play at Old Trafford once again as he was confirmed to be selected for the team led by Marcello Lippi, comprised of all the best players from major European clubs.

United's chief executive David Gill is delighted getting the chance to see Beckham at Old Trafford again.

'It is wonderful that David is coming back,' said Gill.

'He was a very important factor in our success throughout the 1990s and early into the 2000s.

'He is one of the best players the club has had and it is great to have him back.'
