Rossi To Return

Giuseppe Rossi will return to Mancheter United in January, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.

The young Italian striker had joined Newcastle United on loan on transfer deadline day but has made only eight appearances in the first team since. Still, Glenn Roeder has indicated he might want to keep Rossi until the end of the season but he won't get his wish.

'At the same time Henrik arrives on loan I'm going to bring Giuseppe back.

'He's not getting enough football at Newcastle.

'There was an understanding he would play more games but every manager is subject to his own opinion on players.

'He may as well come back to us - we could have done with him here.'

I hope that means we won't let him go again. With the arrival of Henrik Larsson and the return of Rossi, we'd have a pretty decent strikeforce for the second half of the season when lunatic congestion of fixtures is likely to occur.
