Giggs Wants To Break Clear

Manchester United could open a six-point gap over Chelsea by defeating the reigning champions. Jose Mourinho's team have not yet been challenged to play the role of chasers and Ryan Giggs aims to do this.

'That's what we want to try and found out, and see what it's like if they are chasing a team and put the pressure on them a bit,' Giggs told reporters.

'I think it's too early in the season really to be a title-deciding game. 'But over the last couple of seasons it's always been us chasing Chelsea so it would be nice for Chelsea to be chasing somebody, instead of the other way round.

'It would be nice to actually go six points ahead with a lot of games coming up as well, so it is a very important time for us.'

I expect to hear it from a dozen other players until tomorrow...
