The Understanding Is Good

The Understanding Is Good

I'm a thouroughly optimistic, positive-minded guy. Keep that in mind as I try to explain Lennon's confession.

Celtic's skipper revealed that Gary Neville knew Saha would miss the penalty awarded for Gravesen's handball as the Scottish champions defeated the Premiership leaders in the Champions' Lwague.

'Gary Neville actually came across to me and said about Saha, 'his head has gone, he's going to miss this'.' Lennon said after the game.

Well, we could say that our captain's confidence in his teammates is pretty low. But I think we must not be tempted to blast Neville about it, or even to say he's a realist.

I think it's a sign of good understandind and positive team spirit. I mean, had he not known Saha really well, would he have been able to make such a prediction? Well... OK, maybe. Still, I think there's a good team spirit.

probably should have made his feelings clear then. if there's so much understanding saha would have understood why he was telling him not to take it. psychic gary neville, maybe he can predict the lottery numbers for me ;) manu did deserve the win though. funny old game, football. i should hope that put some silverware away this season, they are playing well enough to deserve it, more then chelski; and speakin of, on sunday: GIVE EM HELL!

And Rooney should have taken the penalty, he's mentally stronger than the Frenchman.

Neville, being captain, has some nerve standing watching Saha make a **** of himself. He should've grabbed the ball from him if he felt that way. Wee dick.
