Webb Got The Sunday Job

Webb Got The Sunday Job

The 35-year-old Howard Webb will be in charge of United's Premiership showdown with Chelsea on Sunday.

Webb is considered to be one of the best young referees of the Premier League and his appointment might satisfy Sir Alex Ferguson who has asked for a strong ref, following the events in the aftermath of the Tottenham-Chelsea game.

Webb is one of the first referees who are admittedly willing to take part in a press conference to explain his decisions. I'm one of the great supporters of this idea so he seems to be a good appointment.
