Gloating Giggs

Gloating Giggs

Ryan Giggs is relieved to finally be part of a winning team at Blackburn (League Cup semi-finals don't count now...)

It`s a great place to get three points, because it`s really tough here,' said Ryan.

'Perhaps we didn`t play as well as we have been doing lately but sometimes you`ve got to dig out results, especially at a place like this. We can`t complain at (only) one-nil.'

Ryan is admirably modest but I think we played well. Not as well as against Bolton but Allardyce's men have collapsed in the opening fifteen minutes while Rovers' never gave up the fight so it's a really valuable victory.
