'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Confusion Prevails

If it's true, then our beloved club's press officers make a fool of themselves. SkySports reported that United had confirmed Freddy Adu's arrival for a two-week trial.

The news in itself would raise a few eyebrows as the 17-year-old forward is regarded as one of the hottest properties in world football. But United have denied the speculation about his impending arrival today as Vital United had reported.

I'm a bit confused, to be honest, but that does not stop me from informing you he'll spend two weeks at United and if he impresses Sir Alex Ferguson, United could make a bid for him. He would not arrive until next June when he turns 18 but the Red Devils look to secure his contract as he is coveted by a host of European heavyweight clubs, including Real Madrid and Chelsea.

I sincerely hope I will not have to write about the club denying this information once again...

midlothian99

The Fear
making it in the premiership is the question
rooneyisgod
with all the big boys bidding though would this lead to him being a somewhat overpriced 18 year old with a lot ofd potential but as you rightly say has it all to prove where it matters.. on the pitch in the premiership..??
ernshaw
sounds like you're trying to beat Cheatski to the signing, like they did to you with Mikel!!
BaldyYid
overpriced? wont we only have to pay a small compensation seeing as his contract runs out in the summer
rooneyisgod
