Spend, Spend, Spend!

Spend, Spend, Spend!

Money is still available!

Although Manchester United are marked down as the current biggest spenders in the Premier League in recent times, with the captures of Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao, it would appear that the spending is far from finished.

The indications are, as reported by the tabloid press, money is available to spend in the January transfer window where, as we reported earlier this week, the AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman could well be a viable target, providing he`s proven he has recovered from the knee injury that laid him up for a considerable period of time.

There`s also talk of a world-class centre back being brought in to supplement the signing of Marcos Rojo, however whilst Louis van Gaal would like to bring Matts Hummels to Old Trafford, from Borssia Dortmund, the suggestion is there that the World Cup winning centre-back will not be available for at least another two transfer windows.

Now whilst all this talk of spending again, in January, is admirable, my biggest fear is that we`re not in a position to attract the kind of talent we`re after come January due to the fact we`re not amongst the title chasing pack and in danger of missing out on the Champions League again.

Your thoughts on this article would be most appreciated.

Lets hope so, we could do with a strong centre back and a ball winning midfielder.
