United Agree Blind Fee!

During the week the Ajax coach, Marc Overmars, stated that it would take a significant fee for Ajax to sell Daley Blind.

Well it would appear that Manchester United have offered Ajax a fee that they consider t be significant enough with it being announced that the two clubs have agreed a fee for the transfer of the versatile Dutch international.

Blind, just 24 years of age, excelled in the recent 2014 World Cup in Brazil and his ability to slot into the starting eleven as either a left-back or a midfielder will prove a valuable asset to Louis van Gaal as he seeks to overhaul the squad he`s inherited.

We`ll sit poised awaiting official confirmation relating to the deal being complete.

He'll be a useful player for the club. As a holding mid he's better than anything we've got already and at LB he's great cover and competition to have for Shaw.

A bit underwhelming all the same though, after the names we've been linked with all Summer. Still an improvement on the shambles that we currently have.
