Does that Leave Just One?

Does that Leave Just One?

Not being in European competition of any sorts this season, left Manchester United with just three competitions to participate in.

Those three being:-

• Capital One Cup
• Premier League
• FA Cup

Now, last night, circumstances contrived to dump us unceremoniously out of the Capital One Cup, narrowing down what Manchester United could possibly win.

Also, our start in the Premier League has been far from glorious with only one point gained from the six available in two starts sees us already floundering behind the leading clubs, suffice to say that we`ll not be there or thereabouts come next May.

So does that, in reality, leave Louis van Gaal, even though we`re not in September yet, only in the race for the FA Cup, or am I being too harsh?

Think your bang on there Red Boy only one left to play for. Gaal dropped a bollock with his selection on Tues we should have played a stronger team. A cup run was likely to be our only chance of winning anything. Oh well we'll just have to make do with the fa cup then!

For me as long as we retain top four this season can only be seen as successful.
