'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Van Gaal Speaks Ahead of Kick-Off!

Kick-off is approaching and Louis van Gaal has spoken to BT Sports.

With the squad hit by injuries, van Gaal has spoken about the selections of Tyler Blackett and Jesse Lingard, both making their debuts, and what he expects from his chosen side, remarking,

'The two young players are making their debuts in the Premier League but that is because of the circumstances. I have a lot of injuries so they get their chance. It is not brand new for them, they have played in the friendlies."

'For me personally it is a big day. I shall be very disappointed if we don't win but it is only a step in the process. For the boys it is very important that we win."

'My message? Do what we have told you. And we shall win.'
