Blind Coming?

Although Holland, under the managerial acumen of Louis van Gaal, may not have won the World Cup, several members of their squad showed that they are destined for bigger things than domestic Dutch football.

One player who made a decent impression is Daley Blind, a defender who can also push forward to trouble opposing defences.

Currently on the books of Ajax Amsterdam, a club renowned for bringing through exceptional talent, the 24 year-old appears to be in no rush to leave his native country.

However, as would be the case for most, being pushed on a move to a top-notch club, such as ours, does prove to be an enticing option with Blind admitting to the media,

"I am happy in Amsterdam, but if another club comes along I will have to think about it."

"For now I will focus on Ajax and we will see what happens next week."

From those brief snippets are we right to assume that Blind could be on the move next week or is it just a figure of speech?

Would be a great squad player to add cover to both the left back and holding mid positions however the strength of the first team should take priority surely?
