A Poor Second Choice?

A Poor Second Choice?

Once again news has dried up in relation to Manchester United`s proposed signing of the Chilean midfielder, Arturo Vidal.

Yesterday, the inference was there that a deal was getting closer for the 27 year-old Juventus player.

Now we`re hearing that doubts about a deal are starting to resurface again with the inference now being bandied about that if a deal cannot be done for Vidal then Manchester United will turn their attentions towards the Barcelona midfielder, who used to play for Arsenal, 26 year-old Alex Song.

A very poor second choice if you ask me!

I personally think he's a very good midfielder, certainly better than what we've currently got. He seems a more apt solution the problems our midfield faces than Vidal.

Nope no thanks. Surely we should be aiming higher than this. I thought Carvalho was scouted for months.
