'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vidic Wants Goals

I'd be thrilled to see a real competition developing at the back. Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic scored three goals between them and we all hope they can keep up their free-scoring form - maybe out of the desire of outscoring each other - as United need goals from all areas of the field.

Nemanja Vidic is perfectly happy to play his part in this quest as he insisted he wants more goals.

'I'm really pleased to get another goal,' Vidic told MUTV. 'I hope I can continue to score more in the future including some important ones.

'This goal was our third in the game and we were quite comfortable by then. So I'd like to score a really important goal for the team one day.'

We all remember Steve Bruce and his 19 goals in one season - such a feat might be way beyond of Vidic but as we see, he'd love to chip in at really important moments. A derby winner, maybe, eh?

the striker you have needs to start taking the chances he gets, he missed three good chances against Portsmouth. He needs to score soon or that Neville will get dropped!!!!

Hello Zae I'm the site editor of Vital Blackburn and wondered if you fancied doing a Question & Answers Interveiw ahead of the game with Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday? I would have e-mailed but there isn't a link so come onto Vital Blackburn and e-mail me by clicking on the link and I'll get back to you with my questions. If you do likewise, sending me questions you want answering and I, along with James Watson (the co-site editor) will happily (I'm sure James will) answer them and e-mail them back. Hopefully we'll hear from you?
