'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fast But How Fast?

Speed, the amazing ability to burst clear of a defence and leave defenders trailing in your wake!

It`s a trait few footballers really possess, sure there`s the odd few that can accelerate and create some space for themselves but to see someone latch onto the bal and skip past a defender and continue to pull away, whilst in control of the ball, is a sight to behold.

Now we know a lot can happen as the male body transforms from adolescent youth to a fully-fledged man but it appears we currently have someone on our books who, when it comes to speed, has it in abundance.

RoShaun Williams is a name we`re not familiar with but it appears that the 15 year-old is on our books and, just recently, managed to eclipse the 100 meters schools record that has been held by the British sprinter, Darren Campbell, a record that had stood for some twenty-five years!

Could RoShaun Williams become that speed merchant those who watch the game long for?

Issue with fast players is their brains typically can't keep up with their feet. Hopefully the lad does make it but he's going to need a lot more than just pace to do so. Congratulations to him all the same.
