'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Is Cleverley Set to Leave?

It`s a question that I guess only Louis van Gaal really knows the answer to.

Following our USA Tour, a tour that saw United win the Champions Cup, coming from a goal down to beat Liverpool 3-1, van Gaal will have decided who he wants to keep, who he wants to ship out and who might be available if the price is right.

This morning the inference is given, in the Daily Mail, Everton are looking to bolster their midfield options. It`s stated that Roberto Martinez is considering several potential midfielders and that Tom Cleverley is amongst those aforementioned options.

Still only 24 years of age, Cleverley, it is felt by some, has failed to kick on from being a highly promising youngster and had something of a mixed season last time around in a midfield that was, to put it bluntly, not up to the job of ensuring that Manchester united remained a force in English football.

Therefore, in simple terms, we`d like to know whether you believe, if an offer came in from Everton for Cleverley, you`d support, or be against, a sale!

I'd probably be in support of it. I think it's a move Cleverley needs to sort out his career, the pressure and expectation of playing for United is destroying him.

It would be a shame but really for his sake and ours it needs to happen. He'll always get a great reception at Old Trafford as a former player and a lifelong fan.

Probably needs to move on to be honest last season could have destroyed the lad with the abuse he was getting. Needs to find somewhere to get his head down and start afresh. You never know though LVG may get him sorted would be nice to see.

Is this United's revenge for Moyes and Fellaini? ;)

It could be Fcb but he'd probably come good for Everton just to annoy us.
