United In for Blind?

United In for Blind?

Those watching the recent World Cup, over in Brazil, would have been impressed with the performances given by the Dutch star Daley Blind.

Blind, tutored by Louis van Gaal, is able to play either as a left-back or in the centre of the park.

It appears that following the news that Michael Carrick will be side-lined for the start of the season and that Patrice Evra will soon be departing Old Trafford, it appears that Van Gaal is keen to bring the 24 year-old to United.

Blind is currently on the books of Ajax Amsterdam and a fee of £17.5 million has been mentioned but there`s also the small matter of Barcelona showing an interest.

Here at Vital Manchester United we feel this could well be a deal to keep an eye on.

He would be a perfect squad player but I don't think he's a first-team signing and as such 17.5 million on him seems unjustifiable.

Have to agree 17 million for a squad player seems too much but in saying that we have bought some absolute *****ehawks for the first team for an awful lot more.
