Ten Casualties!

Ten Casualties!

With Louis van Gaal now firmly in the hot-seat, there is speculation that several players could be set to leave Old Trafford.

According to the morning press there could be as many as 10 heading for the exit.

Apparently, the following 8 are deemed as having no future at the club as it enters a new dawn:-

• Wifried Zaha
• Marouane Fellaini
• Ashley Young
• Tom Cleverley
• Nani
• Anderson
• Bebe
• Nick Powell

Whilst the following duo is said to be leaving at their own request:-

• Patrice Evra
• Javier Hernandez

Glimpsing down the list, have those who run our club made any judgment errors in the selections published above?

I can't really argue with that list, maybe give Powell a chance in the first team squad to see how he does and have a chat with Hernandez but other than that I'd be very happy to see that load of deadwood leave the club.

Can't say I'm too surprised by the list apart from Nick Powells addition would have thought being one of the younger players he'd be given a chance. If Hernandez and Evra want to leave that's their decision.

It's all guff, there's no way on this earth Louis has made a decision about any players future yet. Even if he has made a decision on a few players, looking at you Bebe and Anderson, he wouldn't let 10 leave in one Summer. Clearing out a squad and moulding it is a slow process and not something that can be done in one season. I expect 3 maybe 4 departures on the back of Rio and Vidic leaving and Giggs retiring and if I were a betting man I'd probably put my money on it being Bebe, Anderson, Evra and Hernandez.

Powell won't leave yet, not on the back of a successful loan spell at Wigan, he'll go out on loan if not give a chance by Van Gaal. Zaha won't leave yet, Van Gaal loves youth so I imagine he'll want to see what he's capable of first before making any decisions. Cleverley is a good squad player, essentially an English Classie and I imagine Van Gaal will have some place in his team for him, pretty much the same for Young. Fellaini has just got here and wont be allowed to leave just yet. Nani meanwhile will only leave if it means bringing in another player else I imagine he's another opal year whom Van Gaal will want to see plenty of before making a decision. What with Van Gaals press conference saying he won't be looking to make another signing for a month or so until he sees whether the players can adapt or not he won't be stepping into the market so you'd imagine until then we won't be shipping out half the squad incase we need them.

LVG's first press conference starts and a big steaming turd in the press rumour mill is the result. He may as well just come out and wiped his arse with a copy of the sun. Might start watching press conferences more often looks like the journos are going to cop for it.
