A Minimum Rest Period!

A Minimum Rest Period!

It would appear that Louis van Gaal is intent on getting the Manchester United ship steadied as quickly as he can.

Reports in the tabloid press suggest that those United players who were on duty with England, during their dismal World Cup, will be given the minimum 21 rest period they`re allowed.

The likes of Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Luke Shaw are expected to be on the aircraft that departs from Manchester airport for the pre-season tour to the USA a week on Friday.

Although it may, on paper, look harsh, it surely has to be the way forward doesn`t it!

If getting paid a fortune to fly all over America and play football is harsh then where do I sign up? Footballers definitely live on another planet. To be perfectly honest I can't see the issue, none of them played much nor did any of them really bust a gut playing in Brazil to be honest if anything they looked like they could do with all the football they can get.

Whats the problem, rich muppets have to go to work to earn their ridiculous wage. I see nothing wrong with that at all. In fact it might wake a few of them up.
