New Kit Unveiled!

New Kit Unveiled!

With a new season approaching it was perhaps inevitable that there would be the unveiling of a new kit.

Yesterday United were showing off the brand new home kit for next season, a version made by Nike that includes the crest of CHEVROLET, our new sponsors.

It`s thought that this kit will be the last made by Nike as the sportswear firm have decided not to match the offers, supposedly, coming United`s way with regards to kit manufacture next season, a fact borne out by a comment attributed to a Nike source who has remarked,

"It doesn`t make commercial sense."

Maybe not, but what is your verdict on the new home shirt?

Please take a brief moment to vote in our poll so that we can gauge opinion.

I don't get the polo top button without the collar design, looks a bit odd to me. To be honest it's not the calamity previous kits have been but at the same time I still wouldn't call it a nice kit either. Oh well it's not like it effects me anyway, since getting the commemerative 40th anniversary jersey I've shied away from splashing out £80 annually.

As for Nike they're saying it doesn't make sense now but we all know they'll be trying to get us to re-sign with them when the upcoming manufacturer deal, whomeever it is, expires. To be honest I couldn't really care, their kits have been a shambles recently and either Warrior or Adidas seem interested and willing to pay.
