Vidal Prefers United Move!

With speculation linking Manchester United with a whole raft of players, it would appear that one potential target only has eyes for Old Trafford.

The Chilean striker, Arturo Vidal, has decreed that if he does move there is nowhere better for him to end up than Old Trafford.

The 27 year-old has shown, during the 2014 World Cup that he is a class act but whether he is on the wish-list that Louis Van Gaal has remains to be seen, but on a personal level I would welcome his acquisition, how about you?

Sadly this is a nothing story, there's no quotes or anything to go along with it and it's another case of poor journalism from whichever paper reported it.

My opinion towards Vidal is very much the same is it is towards Robben. He's a world class player whom, like Robben is, arguably the best in world in the role he plays; I'd be in disbelief that we signed him and excited to see him play. However, at the same time I would wonder whether the money could've bought a younger and potentially better player e.g. Pogba.

We can at least dream about the transfer Famous. Probably all we'll get to do. As for Pogba I never want near Old Trafford again, he is a great footballer but his ego exceeds his ability.

Completely agree with you about Pogba I was mainly using him as a representation of what else we could get with the same manner. In retrospect though the only players whom I'd say have obvious potential to single-handedly dominate the midfield is Carvalho and Pogba. Obviously as no doubt time will prove there's some hidden gems out there also capable but it's rare occurence to stumble across one intentionally. Seeing as Carvalho is 10 mil less than Vidals rumoured price I'd actually sooner see the club not take the risk in this case and go for the tried and proven. Like you said though it's still a dream.
