Moyes Interested in Galatasaray Position

Axed by Manchester United two months ago, could David Moyes be bouncing back into a managerial role?

It`s being reported that Moyes has held talks about the vacant managerial position at the Turkish club Galatasaray.

With the Turkish club parting company with Roberto Mancini, Moyes had held talks with the Galatasaray president, although it would appear Moyes is only third choice with a spokesperson from the Turkish club remarking,

"The president talked with David Moyes and he said he can come to Galatasaray, but he is not one of our main targets."

"They just spoke to each other, exchanging ideas - that is it."

"We are not in a rush, we are waiting for the end of the World Cup. The first two targets are Joachim Low or Jurgen Klinsmann."

Third in line?

I`d be tempted too…………………….

Would Low really swap the Germany national team for Galatasaray, I mean really? Klinsmann maybe assuming he doesn't get better offers. To be honest if I was Moyes and I was being touted as third in line and not first choice I'd tell em where to stick their job.

If he does get the job though, which apparently considering options one and two looks realistically likely, we can see whether he truly is a mediocre manager and the job was too big for him or whether we should've given him more time. Personally I suspect it's the former rather than the latter.

If Moyes gets the job I'm expecting his first 2 signings to be Leon Osman and Fellaini. As for the other 2 managers linked to the job, Low would be mad to leave the German national team and if he did surely he'd be earmarked for a decent Bundesliga job and Klinnsmann has lived in Yank land for years, he's got a great job over there so I cant see him deciding to quit that scenario. Moyes could get the job. Imagine how ginger he'd be after a couple of years in the sun.
