United Have Rivals for Vidal

One player that appears to be a very wanted man, at the moment, is the Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The 27 year-old is starring for his country in the 2014 Brazilian World Cup and will take centre stage tonight as Chile attempt to knock the hosts out of the competition.

On the club scene Vidal is on the books of Juventus and it is not known whether the Serie A giants would want to, or even be prepared to, sell their asset.

However the list of suitors continues to grow with it being insinuated this morning, in the media, Arsenal are very keen to see off any competition, including that of Manchester United, to land the player and are said to be preparing a bid in the region of 44 million to tempt Juventus to part with the midfield ace.

Will Juve really sell him? He's one of the best midfielders in the world at the moment, one of few who can single-handedly boss games from the middle. If Juve are truly entertaining selling him first and foremost they need their heads checked and secondly every big club in the world would be interested and if Madrid or Barca stick their noses in we don't stand a chance. I personally can't see it happening, Pogba will leave before Arturo.

Would be nice if this did happen, I don't expect it to but our recent transfer activity does offer some hope. Maybe they'll take Fellaini, Cleverley, Carrick and Nani as well as 40 million.
