Khedira Interest?

Reports in the morning press suggest that Louis van Gaal could be about to re-ignite interest in a player that Manchester United had on their radar last summer.

The player in question is the Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

It`s intimated that talks aimed at agreeing a new contract have stalled and that the German international will be leaving Real Madrid this summer.

To that effect it`s being implied that Manchester United could be prepared to go higher than the 30 million they offered last summer to ensure the services of the 27 year-old are acquired.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`ll keep our ears to the ground and report back if we receive any more news on the reference subject matter.

The club would be mad to splash 30 mil on Khedira, he's a good player but that's it really. Thankfully Woodward and Van Gaal have more sense than the press and have seemingly vetoed on Khedira and gone for Herrera, a player whom we are in actual need of.

Speaking of Herrera's close capture, mainly because I'm too impatient for the article to get posted, it looks like we have a player superior to Carrick to succeed Carrick. We couldn't get Modric so we got someone of his mould and playing type, can't complain about that.
