Only Four Are Good Enough!

This morning one of the tabloid publications found on the newsagents shelves has a startling statement contained within its pages.

Following on from our dismal season, a season whereby we couldn`t even manage to qualify for the Europa League let alone the much-coveted Champions League, we wait to see if our new Dutch manager, Louis van Gaal, can turnaround our fortunes in spectacular style.

However, whilst waiting for news of his appointment to become public knowledge and confirmed by those within the corridors of Old Trafford, it appears that van Gaal has been doing an astute assessment of our squad and the reference tabloid claims that the 62 year-old Dutch national coach has decided that of the current squad only 4 are deemed good enough to be certain of their places at Old Trafford.

Therefore, with such a startling fact laid before you, who`d like to suggest who the 4 players are?

As it's Van Gaal RVP has got to be at the top of that list. After him I reckon De Gea as a certainty then it'll be a toss up between Rooney, Mata and Kagawa. Not counting the likes of Jones, Januzaj, Powell etc as they're still young and improving
Pretty hard to guess to be honest because it depends on what Van Gaal considers as 'young'. I mean, Motor is spot on with De Gea but he is still only 23 years old. I'd probably go for Mata, Rooney and RVP and then a toss up between Kagawa/Carrick, probably Kagawa edging Carrick.
Yeah my bad I probably should have lumped De Gea in with the younger contingent of the squad. I sometimes forget how young he is the lads a class act. There must be a lot of our players feeling a little nervous about their job security at this very moment.
Honest mistake to make considering the lads quality is well beyond his age. As for players feeling nervous - good! Finally we might get to see the class of player we were once revered for having rather than the dross the opposition p155 themselves laughing at the sight of now. A lot of players either step up, the Nani's and Fellaini's of the team, or get shipped out on their arses with the Young's and Cleverley's of the team.
RVP, De Gea, Mata, Shinji. I'd imagine Woodward is going to be extra busy this Summer and I doubt Van Gall will put up with Ed's nonsense or failings.
