Huntelaar To Stay At Ajax

Once again, we're back in the frightening and often depressing world of transfer rumours. Fortunately, we have some pure facts to build upon this time as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar insisted he's not going to leave Ajax in January after several reports sugggested he could be on his way to Manchester United.

'That is nice,' he said, regarding the rumours about his possible move to United.

'But I will finish the season at Ajax.

'I am very well here, I think.'

Inter, Milan and Arsenal are all thought to be tracking the former Heerenveen striker who joined Ajax back in January and went on to score 33 league goals in total. United are believed to be preparing a 12 million bid for Huntelaar as Fergie is still keen to add to his striking options in spite of our more than healthy goal average this season.
