Schneiderlin - We`re Staying Put!

One supposed transfer target, well according to the media, is the Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin is one of a crop of Southampton players that many of the Premier League top-clubs would like in their ranks, the others being Jay Rodriguez, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw and the other full back Chambers.

However, the word from the south-coast is that Southampton are in no rush to sell and are no longer a selling club.

Obviously, the Southampton players are aware that their performances are attracting attention and this is something Schneiderlin has commented on in the media with the Frenchman remarking,

"We know top teams are watching us."

"As long as we don`t receive a concrete offer, and as long as the club says they won`t sell, I will never force a transfer."

It is an admirable attitude and one that suggests life in the Southampton camp is a happy one and it also suggests that it`ll take a huge effort to lure away from St Marys any of their talented crop of players, but then again there`s no harm in trying I suppose!

A good player but not the sort of player we should be looking at. In other news every United fan around the world has breathed a massive sigh of relief as Moanrinho has ruled himself out of contention for the United job.
