Glazers to the Rescue

According to various reports surfacing in the media this morning, our American owners are heading to Old Trafford.

Apparently, Avram and Joel Glazer are, reportedly, taking a hands-on approach, in liaison with our chief executive Ed Woodward, determined to return Manchester United to the lofty perch they`ve occupied for so long.

Although details are a little sketchy, it would appear that the Glazer`s will be heavily involved in determining the identity of the next manager whilst also overseeing negotiations relating to any new signings.

We can only hope that the Glazer brothers don`t meddle to much and let those who know about such things get on with doing the business, otherwise it`ll be another fine mess we`ll be in!

I don't know Red Boy the last hiring was on the backing of those "in the know" maybe a bit of meddling is what we could have done with last time round. Maybe the whole sorry episode could have been avoided.
First time round they understandbaly left the footballing affairs to football men and entrusted Ferguson and Charlton with the monumental task of finding Fergies successor. With that royally backfiring and costing the club a fortune in terms of transfer fees, paying-off hired and fired staff and a low league finish and missing out on the Champions League revenue I can't see them making the same mistake again. With the Glazers being the shrewd business men they are this time around there will be a proper hiring process where the most suitable candidate, the one with experience, stature, talent and a reflecting CV will be hired.
