Why Moyes Had to Go!

With the David Moyes era now confined to the history books after his axing, here`s three reasons why the Glazer family and the board thought they were right to act now.

1 - The fortress that we call Old Trafford has become so porous this season that if a Premier League table were to be complied encompassing home games only, Manchester United would sit a lowly 11th with Crystal Palace and Hull just above them.

2 - Manchester United`s current tally of 57 points is the lowest ever points total, in the Premier League, the club have accumulated after 34 games, appalling considering we are the defending Premier League title holders.

3 - In the 6 north-west derby matches we`ve drawn a blank, losing all 6 against Manchester City, Liverpool and Everton.

Clearly, it wasn`t good enough!

There's so, so many more reasons why he had to go. Anyone looking in from the outside and getting on their high horse and criticising the club for not giving him enough time are well and truly ignorant to how poorly he has performed at the club. The fact that the club stuck by him until it was fully confident goes to show we will give a manager time but they've got to earn it.

Screw loyalty - protect the brand at all costs. Hope Family Man loses four on the spin. I'm just gutted you've fired him, it was too perfect....
