Rooney Fit for Everton Clash!

It had been hinted that, possibly, Wayne Rooney would miss the remainder of the Premier League season, in order to get him fully-fit for England`s World Cup campaign, over in Brazil.

Rooney, who picked up a toe injury during the home-leg of the ill-fated Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich, is perceived as an essential cog in our bid if England are to make an impact over in South America.

However, it appears that Rooney`s progress on recovering from the toe injury has been so good that David Moyes is set to play the striker in the fixture against his old club, Everton, this weekend.

Good news for club and country I`d say.

Why even bother? Just put Hernandez or Welbeck up top and watch the Kagawa, Mata & Januzaj triplet behind them continue to disprove the nonsense that we play better without RVP and instead prove that we're actually better without Rooney in-the-hole. There's still plenty of United fans out there who believe we should get rid of RVP and play Rooney up top instead which would be a calamitous error. Keep both but drop Rooney in alongside Carrick/Fellaini/Fletcher.
Big match for Moyes will he finally mastermind Everton getting six points off us? Let's hope Rooney can kick a ball this week.
