'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Moyes Reflects on Bayern Draw!

Before kick-off many respected pundits were predicting that Manchester United would get turned over, big-time, by the current Champions League holders.

It was thought that the Bavarian giants would capitalize on our poor season by, as some suggested, routing us.

But it didn`t turn out that way did it!

David Moyes might have surprised some people with his team selection but those charged with ensuring we did far better then many expected, stuck to the game-plan and left Manchester United with a very good chance of going to the Allianz Arena, producing a performance and shocking all those who intimated the quarter-final would be embarrassingly one-sided.

After the game, Moyes spoke to the media and offered the following remarks,

"The players played really well, we`re delighted with the performance."

"We`re a bit disappointed we conceded a goal but it was a really good performance, really gutsy."

"I thought there was a real determination to make sure we did well."

"It`s a competition that we have a really good history in and I think the players went out realizing we`re playing a really good team. I think coming into the tie most people had Bayern as the favourites and rightly so, they are the European champions."

"But this club is used to big European nights and they showed it on the field and off it, too."

Next week can`t come round quick enough, I`ve a good feeling about this one, how about you?

Go on Moyes say it you know you want to. Tell them how unlucky we were.
