Teenage Prodigy To Arrive

United are thought to have a deal done with Walsall over Evandro Brandao, the Saddlers' 15-year-old Portuguese striker. The reportedly prodigious teenager was playing for the Reds in the Nike Premier Cup held in Manchester in August and despite the team's relatively early exit, his performance did not go unnoticed by Sir Alex Ferguson (or, to be a bit malicious, by assistant Carlos Queiroz) and with United having a good relationship and close links with Walsall, Brandao will now end up at Old Trafford.

The talented striker is now away on international duty so a two-year deal is expected to be confirmed as soon as he's back in England where he's been living for nine years now.

Well, we are eager to hear what Walsall fans (or anyone who has seen him playing) think of him...
