'If It's Football, It's Vital'

What`s That All About?

Call me old fashioned but I just don`t get it!

I`ve never agreed with the fact that Javier Hernandez doesn`t have his proper name on his shirt, I`m perplexed how Ravel Morrison gets away with Ravel on the back of his shirt rather than Morrison, but this takes the biscuit.

I`ve just read that Anderson, our Brazilian midfielder who moved to Fiorentina on loan, will be allowed to use a shortened version of his Instagram user name Andowlove and the number 88 on the back of his shirt.

Now somebody please tell me what`s that all about!

Nicknames are one thing but this is outright ridiculous. Funny that he's got the number 88 though, especially after I joked about it when his departure was announced. Yep, that player with 2 fat ladies on his back is ironically 1 fat man.

As much as I agree with you on this, this isn't anything new the Brazilians have been getting away with this for a very long time and I'm sure they aren't the only ones just the ones who come to mind first. Look at Ronaldinho, Adriano and many others so it's been accepted for years and with all this media it's gna get worse

Surely AndoFatWasteof20millionLardAssNonBrazilian would of been more appropriate and yes it would fit on his shirt, its the size of a king size duvet cover. I hope this useless *&^%$ never comes back.
