Coentrao Now Available!

With it being suggested that Manchester United are looking for a left-back to succeed Patrice Evra, a familiar name is back in the frame and being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The player in question is Fabio Coentrao who has been told that he is free to leave Real Madrid.

Coentrao is rated at 12 million and has been told by Carlo Ancelotti that, after making just two starts for Real Madrid this season is free to leave to ensure his ambitions of playing for Portugal at the 2014 World Cup, in Brazil, are not jeopardised.

In your opinion, is Coentrao the man to replace Evra in the long run or would you still prefer to see Leighton Baines come to Old Trafford?

Coentrao is a better long term option than Baines but Moyes wants to be reunited with his love child. So, we'll waste 20 odd million on Baines and ignore the black hole in the centre of midfield again. If we were to take any full back from Everton it should be Coleman.

Buy him! Buy him now! Evra will be going back to France in summer. That gives the lad half a season and a full pre season to settle in should hit the ground running next season. Plus Evra's not the player he once was anymore too often caught out of position and no longer has the legs to do anything about it.
