'If It's Football, It's Vital'

January is Here - Don`t Write United Off!

Manchester United welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford today probably accepting that nothing less than a win will keep us on the tails of those at the summit of the Premier League.

After nineteen games ourselves and Spurs both have 34 points and both teams know that a win is a necessity if the race for a top-four place is to be realised.

United approach the game on the back of a six-game winning run and ahead of the game David Moyes has spoken about the race for the title, remarking to the media about his team,

"I think they have needed a challenge."

"The challenge is now. Well hey, we`re not in the position we should be, let`s get back to where we want to be."

"I do think they`ve got the bit between their teeth at the moment and I want that to continue, week in, week out."

"We`ve got to try to keep our run going and keep progressing and remain as close to them as we can."

"This year`s title race could prove to be one of the greatest ever, with two points covering the top three and nine points covering the top eight."

"We were saying from the start of the season it was going to be an unpredictable one with changes."

"Probably the stability at Arsenal has given them that continuity which has allowed them to start the season well."

"I still think it looks like an interesting season."

It certainly does and like people have said time and time before, just don`t write Manchester United off.

Thats all well and good Moyes but do you really believe that our current squad can keep this run going when we play Chelsea, City, Everton, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs today. You see I think you are full of ***** and when we start losing games again after another transfer window where we have done nothing you will have more stupid excuses ready for us.
Until the team is buffed out with some genuine, world class talents we will always be prematurely written off. What people fail to understand is that whilst this may be the worst United side in yonks it's still undoubtedly good enough to beat a large majority of sides in the Premier League and challenge the remaining sides.
Famous, it was a good squad a few seasons back. Now it is a midtable average squad playing in a top class stadium with top class training and medical facilities, with a very large fan-base, sold out matches, ridiculous sponsorship money, incredible history and a pitch that has seen some of the worlds greatest play on it and yet now we have a mediocre team and mediocre manager. something isn't adding up, oh yeah the club is run as a profiteering venture solely for the benefit of the horrible troll like ugly capitalist ****s who have put huge debts on our club. Thats the problem.
