Moyes to Spend Big?

The Premier League table really doesn`t look that appealing to Manchester United supporters.

United are languishing in mid-table and looking to be out of the title race with it not yet being January.

The aforementioned month does, of course, herald the opening of the January transfer window, something that United supporters are hoping will be the salvation of our season.

It remains to be seen who United will sign but the rumours in circulation suggest that Moyes isn`t short of cash to spend.

Ahead of the clash with Aston Villa, this Sunday lunchtime, Moyes has remarked,

"The club have the money and they will spend, there`s no question about that."

"We were very close to a major, major signing back in the summer."

"It`s easy now saying it and we didn`t do it but we were really close to a major signing and the club would have definitely shown what they`re worth."

"I`m looking to get someone who will be with us for the next six or seven years."

Well not many clues there is there!

Close, very close………………….but it ended in failure which is the reason why we`re in the predicament we are in now!

Just hope he spends wisely as opposed to simply spending big.

Spending big means wasting 20 to 30 million on another Goodison park comfort buy for Moyes i.e Baines. We already spent big on one of those comfort buys and he's done ***** all since. The players we need at not in the prem now, so Moyes needs to open his eyes and look further afield particularly in Spain.
