'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Welcoming Everton

When David Moyes took over the managerial role, at Old Trafford, succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson, I doubt whether he thought he`d be facing Everton with his old club higher than us in the Premier League table.

But that is how it is as we prepare t welcome Everton Football Club to Old Trafford tonight.

It`s probably fair to say that Roberto Martinez has settled into his new position under less pressure than Moyes but Moyes hasn`t been short of a few words to say about hi sold club and Martinez as we prepare for a must win game, commenting at the pre-match press conference,

"Roberto has done a very good job."

"They have good players there and those there have continued the work. I used to always say to them, 'You would be able to play without a manager because you know your jobs."

"They were well drilled but I`ve got to say Roberto has gone in and done a really good job and kept it going."

Although Everton sit above u sin the Premier League table, I`m hoping that their miserable form, at Old Trafford, continues and that they add to a current tally of having played 20 games here, losing 16 and drawing 4.

Report abuse button? When did they implement that?

In other news not only did we welcome Everton but we gave them all 3 points also. At this point it's getting harder and harder to be an optimistic United fan. Still 24 games to play which is ample time to turn it around just hope Moyes does actually turn it around as the signs so far suggests otherwise.
