Moyes on Sociedad Result

Moyes on Sociedad Result

Although it was by the narrowest of margins, the 1-0 win against Real Sociedad was most welcomed.

Having dropped two points at the weekend, against Southampton, courtesy of a late equalizer, there were a few United followers biting their nails last night.

But as it turned out, all turned out well and we sit on top of our group in a good place to qualify!

Speaking about the result, David Moyes had this to say in his after match press conference,

"I think we played well and created opportunities."

"While it was 1-0, I still had the feeling of Saturday inside me and knew we could lose a goal."

"But it wouldn`t have been right. I thought we played well and could have scored more goals."

"We do need to get more ruthless."

We do and Stoke City, this weekend would be a good place to start wouldn't it and make a few points up on the London clubs at the top of the table.

Glad we didn't concede for once really need to start killing games off. We had more than enough chances too good performance other than that though. Nice to see Kagawa finally getting a look now just give Zaha a chance what have we got to loose. Fair play to Valencia though he looked a bit nearer to form than he has of late.
